The Heartland Heroes Dinner was born out of our desire to recognize such people right here at home - in DeWitt, Macon, Moultrie and Shelby counties - and to inspire others with their stories. The people who carry out our mission are heroes to those they touch. They are ordinary people who do extraordinary things to make their lives better.
