The Travers Stakes weekend will open again this year with what has become a summer tradition: the American Red Cross Battle of the Brews!

The 15th annual 'Brew Fest' will take place in a prime location just inside the main gates of the fabled Saratoga Race Course. There you will be able to sample many of the region's best craft brews -- some well known favorites and some lesser known brands. Spend the afternoon with old friends, or make new friends as you cast your own votes for the People's Choice awards, recognizing the best of the brews! The competition will be intense as brewers from Saratoga Thoroughbrews simultaneously decide on the Judges' Choice awards.

You'll be able to take in the excitement of thoroughbred racing, too, with closed circuit monitors showing all the racing action and a NYRA wagering booth adjacent to the Brew Fest area.
