By providing emergency evacuation shelters during a hurricane, clean-up kits after a wildfire, emotional support after a local disaster or rest & refreshment for first responders, the presence of the American Red Cross brings a ray of light to our neighbors in their time of need. Now, you have an opportunity to be the source of that light at the most dazzling and brilliant event of the season: Luminaria 2013, presented by the American Red Cross of Central Texas.

Join us on Friday, April 5, 2013, at W Austin Hotel as we celebrate the many ways the American Red Cross brings comfort and hope – and light – to our community’s darkest situations. Hosted by co-chairs Hannah Nokes and Terri Broussard Williams, this cocktail-style event will honor three Central Texas heroes while guests enjoy an epicurean menu, shimmering cocktails and live entertainment in a swanky downtown setting. Hailed by Giving City Magazine in 2010 as one of the best nonprofit events in Austin, this luminous evening will raise more than $125,000 to support the mission of the American Red Cross of Central Texas.
