For over a century, the American Red Cross has been a community leader in emergency preparedness and response. Our Heroes Breakfast honors that longstanding tradition of heroism by recognizing local individuals whose extraordinary acts of courage or kindness make them a hero. People in Pierce County make a difference in the lives of others every day. They show kindness and compassion, and give of themselves in unexpected and extraordinary ways.

The American Red Cross Mount Rainier Chapter thanks our community for supporting our 19th Annual Heroes Breakfast of Pierce County, which was held on October 24, 2012. Over 520 people attended and raised over $118,000 to help support local Red Cross programs and services in our community.
