NOMINATION FORM

The American Red Cross is looking for local heroes. Do you know someone who has performed an extraordinary act of courage? Or someone who has dedicated countless hours to a special cause? The Red Cross wants to honor and celebrate these individuals at the Heroes of the Heartland event.

NOMINATION GUIDELINES

Heroism need not involve the direct saving of a life. If nominating for a heroic event, the event must have occurred between Feb. 1, 2012 and March 1, 2013. Nomination forms must be received by March 1, 2013. Judging is done by the Heroes Selection Committee made up of Iowa business and community leaders, including Red Cross supporters. In order to be eligible for nomination, heroes must live, work or go to school in one of the counties served by the Greater Iowa Region. For more information about whether or not your community is eligible, please contact your local Red Cross office.
