Make a Difference Day is October 27. Mark your calendars.

As the season of giving gets closer we have a menu of opportunities involving our youth volunteers and helping those in need. Make sure to mark the October 27 in your activities calendars it is Make a Difference Day!

What is Make a Difference Day about?
It's about the very essence of each community—reaching out and helping others, a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors.

There are a couple things that you might consider:

Ask what your community needs

Ask what your community needs
Look around your community and you will identify plenty of opportunities to roll up your sleeves and help others.

Tell others what are you doing and enlist help
If you need help in implementing your project, register your plans in the Make A Difference DAYtaBANK, a national listing of local projects that will be viewed by interested volunteers, other people looking for good project ideas and news media looking for good stories to tell.
