International Response Fund

You can help the victims of countless crises, like the recent earthquakes in Chile and Haiti, around the world each year by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross International Response Fund, which will provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need. Haiti Relief and Development

On January 12, a series of earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 6.5 to 7.3 devastated Haiti. The American Red Cross is working with its partners in the global Red Cross and Red Crescent network, including the Haitian Red Cross, and other partners to assist those affected by this disaster.

Your gift to the American Red Cross will support emergency relief and recovery efforts to help those people affected by the earthquake in Haiti. Assistance provided by the American Red Cross may include deploying personnel, sending relief supplies, and providing financial resources.

Chile Relief and Development

On February 27, a magnitude 8.8 earthquake occurred in central Chile, about 56 miles northeast of the city of Concepción. The American Red Cross is working with its partners in the global Red Cross and Red Crescent network, including the Chilean Red Cross, to assist those affected by this disaster. Your gift to the American Red Cross will support emergency relief and recovery efforts to help those people affected by the earthquake in Chile. Disaster Relief Fund

You can help people affected by disasters, like the recent tsunamis, winter storms and floods, by donating to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. On those rare occasions when donations exceed Red Cross expenses for a specific disaster, contributions are used to prepare for and serve victims of other disasters. Your gift enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, emotional support and other assistance to victims of all disasters. Your local Red Cross chapter is committed to meeting the humanitarian needs of the people in your area, be it in disaster preparedness, disaster relief, first aid or CPR training, or disease prevention.
