I ran the 2013 Marathon to help the Boston area American Red Cross. Now you can help the Boston area by donating to the Red Cross today.
Official statement from the American Red Cross
Our hearts go out to everyone in Boston dealing with this tragedy and our thoughts are with all of those injured. The American Red Cross in Boston has a long history of supporting the marathon with volunteers and first aid stations. Even before the explosion we were assisting with the race and we continue to support runners, their loved ones and the entire community with mental health assistance for those who will need emotional support in the coming days.
I am proud to be running the 117th Boston Marathon to raise funds for the Red Cross !
Please join me TODAY in supporting the Red Cross with a tax-deductable contribution.
Your donation TODAY of any size to the Red Cross will help save people and change lives.
I have pledged to raise a minimum of $4,000 to benefit the American Red Cross.
The American Red Cross of Eastern Massachusetts is one of the largest Red Cross chapters in the nation, serving 181 communities with a population of five million residents. Each year, more than 2,500 Red Cross volunteers, along with Red Cross staff, provide services to nearly 690,000 people in need across the region, including: Disaster and Emergency Response; Health and Safety Training; Food and Nutrition Programs; Health Care Job Training, Services to Armed Forces, Youth Programs and more!
If you have any questions, feel free to call my cell phone ( 773-882-7620 ) I have it with me 24/7 and keep jamming with iTunes on all my training runs.
