The Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter provides relief to the men, women and children of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties, and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. While the American Red Cross is congressionally mandated to perform these services, it is not a governmental agency, and therefore must raise its own funds to support its work.
