Every day, the Red Cross and its volunteers work to save and rebuild lives that have been shattered.  For more than 96 years, volunteers with the American Red Cross Kansas Capital Area Chapter have always been there to thousands of people throughout the region, lending aid during times of disaster, supporting military soldiers and families and training citizens in lifesaving CPR and first aid skills.

Winged Warriors is an opportunity for each of us to contribute to the mission of the American Red Cross during a time when our gift will go twice as far. The dedication and commitment of our volunteers has inspired Russ Briggs of Briggs Auto Group, presenting sponsor for the Ride for the Red fundraising event  to match up to $10,000 to support the work of our volunteers. With your help, this year we hope to meet his challenge and raise an additional $10,000 which will be matched dollar-for-dollar to support your neighbors in need.
